Ranch Advisory Completes Grazing Management Plan for Bitterbrush State Wildlife Area

The Colorado Department of Parks and Wildlife (CPW) contracted Ranch Advisory to create a grazing management plan on the Bitterbrush State Wildlife Area in northwest Colorado.  The State Wildlife Area lies in a unique landscape containing high-producing shrubs like bitterbrush that are preferable to wildlife.  The agency will improve wildlife habitat on the property while allowing a strategically managed livestock grazing program designed to enhance rangeland health.  Ranch Advisory collaborated with CPW on opportunities surrounding improving rangeland health and wildlife habitat, and the agency recently approved the management plan.  We wish CPW the best in stewarding this terrific property into the future.
